ORTHOPEDIC - LOW BACK

Low back treatment generally entails a combination of core stabilization, lower body and hip strengthening, and various modalities for pain management including E-STIM, dry needling, and soft tissue mobilization. Low back pain can occur due to a variety of reasons and at Balance Chicago we will tailor our treatment on an individual basis.

ORTHOPEDIC- NECK

Neck pain can happen anywhere, anytime. From sleeping in a stressful position, to whiplash, the causes and treatments vary greatly. We use a combination of hands on therapy and strength and mobility exercises to try to improve your everyday function and decrease any pain you might be experiencing.

ORTHOPEDIC- HIP

Hip pain is one of the most common ailments people face as they age. Hip pain treatment generally entails a combination of core stabilization, lower body and hip strengthening, and various modalities for pain management including cupping, dry needling, and soft tissue mobilization.

 

ORTHOPEDIC- SHOULDER

Shoulder pain varies in origin but the pillars of treatment here at Balance Chicago include postural retraining, scapular stability and mobility, and strength training. We will utilize different treatment methods including but not limited to dry needling, mobilizations, soft tissue therapy, and cupping.

ORTHOPEDIC- FOOT/ANKLE

Almost everyone relies heavily on their feet and ankles to live their life. It’s no surprise that they are often one of the most common parts of the body to be injured.  At Balance Chicago, treatment for foot/ankle injuries generally incorporates stretching, hip and ankle stabilization and strengthening, and proprioceptive retraining. 

ORTHOPEDIC- KNEE

Pressure from exercise or daily activities can result in a variety of knee injuries. Here at Balance Chicago we can perform multiple different assessments including gait and running analysis to determine what could be causing the pain symptoms. We will utilize all of these tools we have to help you return to your everyday sports and activities.
